WHY RESUMERANK

A score is only useful if you can see why it was given.

01

Explainable verdicts

Every verdict comes with a verbatim quote from the resume, not a mystery number. You can defend every shortlist decision.

02

Weighted scoring

Must-have requirements count twice as much as nice-to-haves, so the score reflects what actually matters for the role.

03

Pipeline built in

Move candidates through new, screening, shortlisted, interview, offer, and hired — one place, whole team.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps to a defensible shortlist.

01

Create a job with requirements

Write the role, then list what actually matters — mark each requirement must-have or nice-to-have.

02

Paste candidate resumes

Add candidates by pasting resume text. No file-upload pipeline required to start screening.

03

Score and shortlist with evidence

Run AI scoring and get a weighted score plus a verdict, evidence quote, and note for every requirement.

WHAT TEAMS SAY

Recruiters stopped arguing about gut feel.

The evidence quotes changed our debriefs. Instead of 'I liked her vibe,' it's 'here's the line that proves the requirement.'

We screened 140 applicants for one role in an afternoon. The weighted rubric caught two people our keyword filter had thrown away.

Server-enforced roles and the audit log got it past our security review in a week. That never happens with hiring tools.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Not yet — you paste resume text when you add a candidate. File upload and parsing (PDF/DOCX) is deferred so the core screening flow stays friction-free; pasted text is the scoring input either way.

ResumeRank uses Groq (llama-3.3-70b-versatile by default) with a strict JSON response contract validated by Zod, so a malformed response never produces a partial or silently wrong score.

No. Job and resume text is sent to Groq only to generate the scoring response for that request. It is not used to train ResumeRank or any third-party model.

Every requirement gets a verdict — strong, partial, or missing. Must-have requirements count twice as much as nice-to-haves, and a partial verdict earns half credit. The result is a 0–100 weighted match percentage.

Roles are enforced server-side on every request: owners and admins manage the team, members can create and edit records, and viewers can look but never write.

ResumeRank is a demo/trial project, not a commercial product — there's no billing. Create an account and try the full flow with your own job and candidates.
